Gallery 307 has been an integral component of the local arts community in Russellville Arkansas since it opened in 2012. The gallery began with Arkansas artists and has continued to grow but continues its dedication to artists from the local area. Gallery space has expanded and the gallery now represents over 30 artists with expertise in diverse styles and mediums. Artists featured at Gallery 307 have had their art showcased across the country and are the recipients of awards at numerous shows as well. In addition to gallery space, we also have studio space where artists paint daily. Gallery 307 is happy to welcome any casual lover of art as well as seasoned art collectors. Rita Goodman, Gallery owner, has always been a lover of art. Between having an artist father and being an artist herself, she is truly living her passion by being the owner of Gallery 307. Rita grew up in Russellville, AR, married young and with four children to care for was a stay at home mom for many years. As the children became school age, she felt a need to further her education. She received her BA from UALR, became a CPA and worked in the energy field for 20 plus years. During this time, she pursued her love of art by taking many classes in watercolor and oil painting. After retirement and a move back to her "home", the opportunity presented itself to open a gallery and to paint on a daily basis. She is proud that Gallery 307 represents nationally known artists who have their roots in Arkansas, love to express themselves through the arts and want to have a presence in our Natural State.
